MURDER OF GOD’S BANKER
A PARAMOUNT+ ORIGINAL
In 1982, Roberto Calvi was found hanging from London's Blackfriars Bridge. One death. One bridge. A trail that leads straight to the Vatican, the Sicilian Mafia, and the collapse of an entire government.
Telling that story required a production as layered as the conspiracy itself. Archival footage, stylized animation, live-action dramatizations, and interviews with journalists and historians spanning multiple countries — all of it had to cohere into something that felt as propulsive and cinematic as the story itself. As Executive Producer, I managed the full production pipeline across 10+ international vendor partners, orchestrating the complex handoff between live-action shoots and animation studios to ensure every element served the same singular vision.
Global productions at this scale live and die by the invisible work — the vendor relationships, the workflow architecture, the creative decisions made at 2am across time zones. This was one of those projects where I felt every one of those decisions in real time.
Some conspiracies are so sprawling they resist being told. This one didn't get the choice.
